On August 21, 2013, Mayor Alvin Brown appointed seventeen persons, including Ms. Doolittle, to the Jacksonville Retirement Reform Task Force, whose mission was to examine the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund and make recommendations concerning its future and the design of and funding for pension benefits for Jacksonville police and firefighters. The Task Force was comprised of community leaders committed to Jacksonville’s future who reviewed the proposed public safety pension reform agreement, sought input from stakeholders and other interested citizens, and made recommendations on how the City should proceed. The Task Force completed its work on March 19, 2014, and on that date unanimously adopted its Report for delivery to the Mayor, the City Council President and the Administrator of the Jacksonville Police and Fire Pension Fund.

Kirsten Doolittle has been honored for excellence as one of North America’s Top Attorneys. Lawyers recognized for excellence have remarkable professional accomplishments, great peer evaluations and more. Over 1 million North American lawyers work in businesses, government, and privately in solo practices and firms, large and small. Of the very small percentage of lawyers who are ever publicly recognized for excellence, just a handful have been selected as a North American Top Attorney. Kirsten Lea Doolittle is considered to be one of the best and has achieved this hard-earned recognition.

Kirsten Doolittle received an Avvo Rating of “Excellent”. The Avvo Rating is used to evaluate a lawyer’s background, based on the information known about the lawyer. The rating is calculated using a mathematical model that considers the information shown in a lawyer’s profile, including a lawyer’s years in practice, disciplinary history, professional achievements and industry recognition – all factors that, in our opinion, are relevant to assessing a lawyer’s qualifications.
